Our guest surgeon, Gio Campagna MD, just graduated from ophthalmology residency at UCLA last week and is now starting his glaucoma fellowship with Dr Arsham Sheybani and the other faculty at Washington University in St Louis, Missouri. This is about case number 300 from his residency where he performs phaco chop and a MIGS (minimally invasive glaucoma surgery) trabeculotomy using the Omni device from Sight Sciences. He also uses the trypan blue dye to stain the angle to facilitate cannulating Schlemm’s canal. Great learning from this case. As one of the last residents that I helped train, I am very proud of you!
