1884: Lefty’s 25th solo cataract case

Whether you are right or left handed, the rules and challenges of cataract surgery are the same: safely remove the cataract, insert the IOL into the capsular bag, and have no complications. Also helpful if you keep your socks dry (residents will understand this joke)! This left handed surgeon does a great job with this case, especially considering that it is case 25 in the learning curve. A simple suggestion is to add some paraxial lighting to the two coaxial beams so that the periphery is not so dark (look at the pic above). Also set the microscope to record in 1080p video (this particular microscope only puts out a low resolution 720p). The technique is good, however there is one glaring issue that I have an issue with… can you guess?
