I am so incredibly impressed with the state of ophthalmology training in the Philippines and I just spent last weekend at The Medical City Eye and Vision Institute Post-Graduate Course in Manila. The level of surgery performed here is world-class and cutting edge and the young residents are really quite amazing. These surgeons are learning the most advanced techniques and garnering great experience during their residency training program.
