2558: corneal laceration & lens puncture

As surgeons, we love the challenge of a traumatic case because of the added complexity and the problem solving nature of the procedure. But for our patients, I can assure you that you want to try your best to avoid eye trauma because while we can address the trauma and repair the eye, it will never be as perfect as it was before. In this case, the patient sustained an injury where a small wire caused a corneal laceration and then penetrated the anterior lens capsule. Our guest surgeon does a great job addressing these issues.
