1977: combo phaco & BANG goniectomy

Another option for cataract patients who also have glaucoma is to perform a form of MIGS where we are performing a procedure in the angle of the eye with visualization via a gonio prism. This case uses the BANG procedure (bent ab-interno needle goniectomy) which we have previously covered in a video from Dr Arsham Sheybani (also check out his amazing podcast with CataractCoach). The BANG procedure works well and has one huge advantage: it only requires a 27g or 25g needle to perform, so the cost is negligible. Some great pearls from this video including how to make your phaco incision so that your view with the gonio prism is better.
