1922: traumatic mydriasis & dislocated IOL

This patient had an intra-ocular foreign body which necessitated a pars plana vitrectomy along with lensectomy and IOL placement. Now the patient presents much later with a dislocated IOL (which is also upside down – remember the S sign?) and terrible symptoms from the traumatic mydriasis. Our surgeon fixes this situation and even uses a technique that he learned here on CataractCoach to fix a bent haptic.
