1465: MSICS: bailout for rhexis runout

MSICS can be a great way to rescue a very difficult case. We recently presented a video of a master cataract surgeon who converted from phaco to MSICS due to an absolutely opaque and dense cataract. This video shows a dense white cataract where there is a run-out of the capsulorhexis in the Argentinian flag sign configuration. This poses a higher risk for complications so our guest surgeon chooses to switch to MSICS. That is a great call and this case goes beautifully without any further complications. Mark my words: one day you will need to switch from phaco to MSICS in the middle of a case and this video shows you the exact steps.
