
If more than 99% of my cataract surgery cases do not require a suture, then why is it so important to practice suturing? This video is a must-see for any beginning or young surgeon (if you’ve done less than 500 or 1000 surgeries). Even a more experienced surgeon can benefit from suturing practice. Remember that no one is born knowing how to suture with 10-0 nylon while looking through a surgical microscope. The skills that you develop will help so much in your surgeries, even if they are sutureless.
