1097: Playlist: Suturing

While most routine phaco cataract surgeries do not require sutures for closure of the incision, the ability to suture is critical for a successful ophthalmologist. Remember that no one was born knowing how to suture with 10-0 nylon and that we must practice this skill in order to become proficient. If you are in your residency or fellowship training, you owe it to yourself to practice this skill hundreds of times so that you dexterity improves.
