We are thankful for the many video submissions we receive from our readers, particularly from residents or registrars who are in their training. There is so much to be learned from carefully dissecting the videos and seeing what could use improvement. This surgery is a challenge for any surgeon: a dense white cataract, small pupil, and a shallow anterior chamber. On top of this, the capsulorhexis runs out when the sub-incisional iris gets caught in the forceps.
