Our guest today, Dr Gustavo Hüning, is an outstanding surgeon who does cataract surgery, retina surgery, and also surgical repair of complex eye trauma. He has an innovative approach to advancing ophthalmic surgery and was even involved in the early development of the heads-up 3D displays for surgical visualization. He also aims to bring the best from around the world to his clinic in Santa Maria, RS, Brazil by traveling extensively and spending time with colleagues around the world. I enjoyed hosting him when he was in Los Angeles and I was rewarded with wise surgical insight and advice as well as great friendship.
