For surgeons who are trying to learn a new technique, it is helpful to see the hand position as well as the microscope view. In this video our guest surgeon shows this double camera view of IOL fixation to the sclera and you can see that a third hand (the hand of the assistant) is needed to carefully twist the plunger for controlled IOL delivery as the surgeon uses his hands to hold the injector tip and grab the leading haptic to externalize it. Brilliant.
