2579: total anterior segment reconstruction

Surgical illustration of total anterior segment reconstruction featuring IOL exchange, glued IOL, PDEK of the cornea, and pupilloplasty.

Our guest surgeon does a great job with a very difficult case. This patient has an opacified IOL that is also dislocated, an absence of capsular support, corneal failure, and a large traumatic iris defect. All of this is going to be repaired in one sitting by performing multiple procedures at once. This is a very complex surgery and likely took at least an hour or two, but we have edited the video down to just a few minutes for efficient learning.
