Traumatic eye injuries can be very challenging because often we do not know the full extent of the damage until we begin the surgery. In this picture we can see about 3 clock hours of zonular loss, but there may be much more once we begin the surgery. This patient also has chronic mydriasis and will require that to be addressed as well. Our guest surgeon does a great job with this tough case and achieves a beautiful surgical outcome.
