In that video, the surgeon pushed the IOL into the eye but with so much force that it broke the posterior capsule. In this video, again the IOL becomes stuck in the incision with a different, anonymous surgeon. What would you do in this situation? What have we learned from prior cases here on Cataract Coach? The IOL getting stuck in the incision occationally happens when performing wound assisted implantation. I simply grab the IOL with my lens holding forceps an pull it out. The IOL never gets marked or damaged and can simply be reimplanted using your usual cartridge.
