Yesterday on the Cataract Coach Podcast (the top podcast in all of ophthalmology!) we featured Prof Bruno Trindade from Belo Horizonte, Brazil and we talked about complicated cases like the one featured here today. This patient has prior radial keratotomy and also multiple astigmatic corneal cuts close to the central visual axis. This results in a high degree of astigmatism, both regular and irregular. In addition the patient also has Fuchs’ corneal dystrophy. The approach to this case is complex and hence the title: everything, everywhere, all at once. The patient ends up with an amazing visual outcome. There is one question, how can you see the retina with the Xtrafocus pinhole implant in the eye? Yes, you can — and once you see the video, you will be amazed.

Truly remarkable, courageous, and innovative!
