2401: capsulorhexis extension? MSICS now?

This is a remarkable case for two reasons: (1) there is the complication of capsulorhexis tear out in this white cataract, and (2) our guest surgeon does the entire case without a phaco machine and without viscoelastics (OVDs). Likely the absence of the viscoelastic in the anterior chamber contributed to the capsular extension, but everything will be just fine. Our guest surgeon completes the capsulorhexis from the other side and performs MSICS to remove the nucleus whole. A Simcoe cannula is used to remove the cortex and then the IOL is successfully implanted, giving great vision to this patient. So many great surgical tips in this case. What would have been your course of action? Comment below.
