In this video, Prof. Lloyd Williams teaches a resident how to perform divide-and-conquer phaco and then goes on to show how he treats trachoma in other parts of the world where it is endemic. You will recall that he was on our CataractCoach Podcast in 2023 where he explained the ophthalmology work that he does around the world. This includes cataract surgery which we all know and love, and also conditions such as trachoma which is rarely seen in the USA, but is common elsewhere.
