This new SION device is purported to be a bladeless method of performing a goniotomy surgery using a specialized instrument. We have featured other methods of goniotomy on CataractCoach including the BANG method that requires just a bent needle. The procedure looks good and the results are similar to other goniotomy procedures. So the question is: does this offer an advantage over other goniotomy procedures?
