2159: posterior polar pre-chopper

If you are a CataractCoach fan, then I am confident that you know all about posterior polar cataracts because we have more than 30 videos of these types of cases in our library. The bottom line is that the posterior polar opacity hides a weak spot of the posterior capsule and you should avoid placing stress on the capsular bag lest it rip wide open. This means no hydro-dissection and it also means that you must not stretch the capsular bag. So can you still use a pre-chopper? Indeed, you can, albeit with a high degree of caution.
