This patient has a history of prior cataract surgery with CTR placement and pseudo-exfoliation glaucoma. You can see an active glaucoma filtering bleb in the bottom right corner of the picture and video. Our guest surgeon does a great job of securing this IOL + CTR + bag complex to the sclera using polypropylene suture material and flange creation. This scleral fixation is anticipated to give great long term stability. How many sutures would you place? Two may work but what about the hammock effect? Perhaps three?
