2132: how to manage a floppy old bag

Once the capsulorhexis is started, it is clear that this patient has severe zonulopathy. The wrinkling of the anterior lens capsule indicated that there is global zonular laxity. Once the cataract has been removed and the capsular bag is empty, there is so much movement of the capsulorhexis. What would be your approach to this tough case?   1. Dr Steve Shallhorn at the recent AECOS meeting gave a convincing talk on leaving a patient +0.75 rather than -0.25 postop in the distance eye as being more favorable for the patient. Have you found this? Can you discuss it?
