2062: IOL scaffold with Morgagnian cataract

This patient has a Morgagnian cataract where the cortex and epi-nucleus have become liquefied and then partially absorbed, resulting in a free floating smaller endo-nucleus within the capsular bag. Our guest surgeon decides to implant the IOL first, before removing the nucleus, using the idea of an IOL scaffold to protect the posterior capsule.
