As an ophthalmic surgeon, you promised yourself that you would learn to perform limbal relaxing incisions (LRIs) to help address corneal astigmatism in your cataract surgery patients. This is the time. While I prefer toric IOLs for 1 diopter or more of corneal astigmatism, for 0.50 or 0.75 diopters of corneal cylinder, the limbal relaxing incision (LRI) is great. This video is a review of a simplified approach to understanding and performing LRIs.
