1961: review of limbal relaxing incisions

As an ophthalmic surgeon, you promised yourself that you would learn to perform limbal relaxing incisions (LRIs) to help address corneal astigmatism in your cataract surgery patients. This is the time. While I prefer toric IOLs for 1 diopter or more of corneal astigmatism, for 0.50 or 0.75 diopters of corneal cylinder, the limbal relaxing incision (LRI) is great.
