Our guest surgeon does a great job with this tough case of pseudo-exfoliation with a relatively small pupil. And this is accomplished without the use of iris hooks or pupil rings. If your comfort level is better with using these devices, then by all means, please do so. Just know that you can also successfully complete these cases by using alternate techniques. My preferred technique for these cases is a bit different, link here, but any method that is safe and efficient is good in my book!
