1908: nanophthalmos & decompression

This patient has true nanophthalmos with an axial length of less than 20mm and a calculated IOL power of 67 diopters. The patient is suffering from angle closure glaucoma and performing cataract surgery and re-establishing aqueous flow is needed. This case offers valuable pearls for management of this tough condition, including using forceps to break the peripheral anterior synechiae (PAS) and re-open the angle.
