1833: Curriculum lesson 23: dense cataracts

The next lesson in our 25 part curriculum series is focused on dealing with dense cataracts. You can see the entire curriculum series here. This series is designed to take a young ophthalmologist in training through the process of learning cataract surgery starting from the beginning. With 25 lessons in total and each lesson being 30 to 45 minutes, there is a significant time commitment, but I assure you that it is well worth your time. I suggest doing one lesson every week (over 6 months) or every other week (lasting 12 months). Today’s lesson is truly critical: dealing with dense, brunescent cataracts and giving your patients a great visual outcome despite the challenges.

    1. YouTube has deemed that surgery videos are too graphic to be seen by minors so they have age restricted most surgical videos on line.
