1818: My Week: Sub-incisional cortex

With sub-incisional cortex, using a bimanual IA set-up makes it relatively easy to remove. However, with a co-axial IA probe, which is far more common in the USA, it can be more of a challenge. In this video I show my best pearls for safely and easily removing the sub-incisional cortex with the co-axial probe, while minimize the risk of capsular damage. And that is especially important in this case since the patient is a fellow cataract surgeon!
