This is a very tough case because the patient has a long-standing corneal scar, a cataract, and glaucoma that is not under control. Our guest surgeon does a great job of performing a combined cataract surgery and trabeculectomy including placement of a rip-cord suture that can be removed in the post-op period to allow more flow through the trab site.
