1576: three techniques of nucleus division

Our guest surgeon today is a young resident from Brazil who sent in a video showing him performing three different techniques of nucleus division: (1) divide and conquer, (2) stop and chop, and (3) phaco chop. The video shows the same young surgeon operating on cataracts of similar density and the differences between the techniques is remarkable. Remember that our goal for nucleus removal is to be efficient with ultrasonic energy, limit the fluid pushed through the eye, and spend less time inducing inflammation. What do you think is the difference between these three techniques when it comes to our efficiency parameters?
