1360: cross chop technique

I enjoyed watching this video where our guest surgeon performs a technique that he calls swift chop. What’s interesting about the technique is that the chopper and phaco tip are crossed and it works very well in his hands. When I perform phaco chop, my left hand is holding the chopper which is placed to the left of the phaco tip. I then pull the chopper to my left side to propagate the chop. In this cross chop technique, the left hand is holding the chopper which is placed to the right of the phaco tip and then the surgeon pushes the chopper to the right side to propagate the chop.
