
We can stretch the pupil using two hooks in order to enlarge a small pupil for cataract surgery. But how do we do it in such a manner that we do not damage the iris? In a patient like the one shown here, the light colored iris will make it obvious if there is an iatrogenic corectopia or chronic mydriasis. This video shows the technique to stretch the pupil without causing iris damage.
