1250: IOL exchange with open PC

For an IOL exchange procedure, it is easier to proceed if the posterior capsule is still intact because it forms a barrier and prevents vitreous prolapse. In a case with a prior YAG laser capsulotomy and an open posterior capsule, we can still perform an IOL exchange but it is more challenging. This video shows how our guest surgeons accomplishes an IOL exchange with an open posterior capsule and without vitreous prolapse.
