1150: white cataract with iridoplasty

This patient was undergoing cataract surgery by a novice surgeon who ran into trouble right at the beginning of the case. There was extensive iris prolapse which happened after the anterior lens capsule was punctured. This original surgeon elected to stop, suture the incision, and refer the patient to a more experienced surgeon. This second surgeon is now faced with a challenge: successfully perform the cataract surgery and then repair the iris.
