Our guest surgeon is Dr Érico Jun Oda from Brazil and he demonstrates an expert level cataract surgery in a patient with ocular albinism. The patient has very dense cataracts and also nystagmus due to the albinism. He performs a manual chop of the nucleus by using two choppers and trapping the cataract between the instruments. And since this video was submitted in a square format instead of the usual widescreen, I have added a camera video of my facial expressions so that we can watch and learn from this video together!
