1017: complete case with dense endo-nucleus

This complete cataract cases features a younger patient who developed bilateral cataracts with a dense endo-nucleus. We also implant a toric extended depth of focus IOL to give him a wider range of vision without as much dependence on spectacles. The key is to separate the endo-nucleus from the epi-nuclear shell. We also highlight some of the more subtle techniques that ensure a great outcome for this patient such as barely nicking the limbal vessels so that the incisions seal very well.
