Quiz: What are these spots seen during surgery?

During cataract surgery for this patient, everything seemed relatively routine. The patient is elderly with some zonular laxity, but even still, the surgery went well without issues or complications. After cataract and cortex removal, in the aphakic state, we notice small bits of particulate matter while we inflate the capsular bag with our cohesive viscoelastic.
