Our guest is Dr Priscila Cruz Flores, an ophthalmologist from Mexico City who balances a private clinical practice with a strong dedication to surgical education and humanitarian work. She coordinates large-scale medical missions that provide free cataract surgeries to underserved rural communities throughout Mexico. Additionally, she co-founded EICCO, an international academic meeting designed to foster collaboration and education among ophthalmology residents and specialists. I was fortunate to join her at the last EICCO meeting (Encuentro Interinstitucional de Casos Clínicos en Oftalmología which means Inter-institutional Meeting of Clinical Cases in Ophthalmology) and was truly impressed with her passion and drive. So much to learn from this amazing colleague.
