2902: innovative “X-ray” filter gives details

Close-up view of a surgical procedure using an innovative X-Ray filter, highlighting the injection of viscoelastic material. Digital display settings are adjusted to enhance visualization.

Our guest surgeon in this video is Dr Durval Carvalho Jr from Brasilia, Brazil and he has a brilliant way of adjusting your digital microscope settings in order to visualize more. He calls these parameters the “x-ray” settings and it makes it much easier to see subtle details such as the title slide of injecting viscoelastic. This video is so good that it won the prize at a recent ophthalmic film festival and I enjoyed it so much that I got his permission to share it with you on CataractCoach.com with Durval doing the narration himself. Fantastic idea and at the end of the video all of the settings are shown so you can implement this with your digital heads-up microscope display today.
