This is a great case showcasing the talents of a fantastic surgeon who notices zonulopathy during phaco of a dense cataract. She is able to detect this right away and then remedy the situation by implanting a capsular tension ring (the Henderson scalloped CTR here). This case won the video contest at The Eye and Vision Institute at The Medical City in Manila where I was honored to speak earlier this summer.
