2618: anterior vitrectomy basics RetinaRounds

A close-up image showing a surgeon's view of anterior vitrectomy, with instruments visible in the eye, labeled with 'Bimanual Anterior Vitrectomy' and 'Triamcinolone Staining of Vitreous'.

Today’s video is a shared video that was featured on our sister channel RetinaRounds.com which covers the basics of performing an anterior vitrectomy. Professor Pradeep Prasad gives us a vitreo-retinal surgeon’s perspective on how best to perform this procedure when managing the complication of capsule rupture and vitreous prolapse. It is July in our teaching hospitals and universities which means that our new resident and fellow surgeons need to quickly improve their skills. This video is a must watch for all surgeons and it has so many great pearls.
