Our guest surgeon on yesterday’s CataractCoach Podcast was Dr Lucy Shen, a glaucoma expert from Mass Eye / Harvard in Boston. She spoke about her approach to addressing a thin, cystic, sometimes leaking, bleb. This is a bit different than our previous video 2459 with Prof. Ramesh Ayyala. We want to learn all the variations here and have the world’s most complete surgical video library of anterior segment surgery. In the case presented here, the bleb is so large and cystic that it drops down over the cornea and encroaches on the patient’s visual axis. Certainly this needs to be fixed. Great teaching video and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.
