2472: dislocated IOL and bag with PXF

This patient had cataract surgery done many years ago and everything was great until recently. The patient now presents to you with severe progressive zonulopathy and a dislocated IOL and capsular bag complex. The original surgeon many years ago did a great job and the issue here is the patient’s tissues and underlying disease process. Pseudo-exfoliation (PXF) is a progressive disease and as these patients live longer and longer, the incidence of late IOL+bag dislocation increases. Getting old is not for wimps! Our guest surgeon does a great job of addressing this situation and restoring great vision to the patient.
