On our CataractCoach Podcast we featured Dr Ivan Gabric who is advancing the limits of corneal refractive surgery using a femtosecond laser to create lenticules in the corneal stroma. This video shows the cases we were discussing where the treatment is a pure myopic cylinder, in this case 0.00 -4.00 x 170. He shows his technique of careful dissection since the edge of the lenticule is incredibly thin. I had a chance to visit his clinic in person and learned so much from watching his surgeries and then seeing the post-op patients together.
