This is a tough case of a traumatic cataract with about half of the zonular support being compromised (6+ clock hours) from prior trauma. Our guest surgeon does a great job of addressing this by performing cataract surgery and then using a capsular tension segment to fixate the capsular bag to the sclera using Goretex suture and a Hoffman pocket.
