
The Kahook Dual Blade (KDB) is an instrument that can be used to cut a strip of the trabecular meshwork to improve outflow of aqueous into the canal. This angle based surgery is often done at the time of cataract surgery and it has shown to be effective in helping to lower intra-ocular pressure in patients with glaucoma.
