
Look carefully at this picture and ask yourself why this IOL is causing issues? The patient had a seemingly routine cataract surgery and then the single piece acrylic IOL was implanted. Nasally subluxation and ciliary irritation ?
Possibly one haptic is in sulcus
the haptic to the left is in the sulcus irritating the iris. I see this all to often on referral.
Probably pt had some contusion due to which one of the haptics caused trauma to ciliary bodies resulting in hemorrhage and angle blockage
