With trauma, you never know exactly what you are going to get. Look carefully at this photo and you can see that the anterior lens capsule looks fibrotic and wrinkled after staining with trypan blue dye. There is white cataract material and then also there are areas of missing lens material. It is hard to know the full extent of the injury. How would you proceed in this case?
