I am very impressed with the younger generation of ophthalmologists because they learn so quickly and have great dexterity. It must be all of those years playing video games! In this video we have an anonymous resident surgeon who is learning both horizontal and vertical phaco chop. That is great and I encourage all cataract surgeons to be adept with both techniques. You could even combine the two into what I call a combo-chop. Bravo to this young surgeon — keep up the good work.
