Our guest surgeon does a great job of phaco with this truly dense, brunescent cataract. This video includes the pre-op photos (Coca-Cola colored nucleus) and post-op photos which show a clear cornea. That is excellence considering the density of the nucleus and the amount of ultrasonic energy that is needed to emulsify this dense cataract. The corneal endothelium is re-coated multiple times with visco-elastic and that certainly plays an important role in delivering that clear cornea on post-op day one. Great learning case!
